Game night ยท AI Game Master
Your friends. Your AI. One very bad fireball.
An AI Game Master runs the story, fair dice settle every roll, and a 16-bit world acts it out for the whole table. Friends join from a link. No install, no account.
Or curl up and play solo before bed.
Free for tables of up to 4. Players never pay. See pricing.
Hosts run the Game Master on their own AI. Best supported today: Claude Code. ChatGPT, Claude.ai and Grok connectors are in testing.
Live scene from the real renderer, driven by a scripted demo. Try the player.
How it works
-
Host installs the mod
One person runs Loudroll inside Claude Code with their own AI account. Type /tabletop start and you get an invite link.
-
Friends open the link
No install and no account. They pick a name and a hero in the browser, and the host lets them in.
-
The Game Master runs the table
Everyone says what they do. The Game Master answers in story, and a pixel world acts it out in front of the whole table.
What a session feels like
A real game master
The AI plays the world: characters with voices, consequences that stick, a story that remembers last week.
The story you can see
A 16-bit scene walks, fights and casts as the narration lands. Everyone sees the same picture.
Phone-friendly
Players only need a browser. Type what you do, watch the scene, keep going from the couch.
Fair turns
Each round has a timer. Everyone acts, then the Game Master resolves it together. Nobody has to wait for a slow typist.
Open source, self-hostable
Loudroll is MIT-licensed. The hosted version is the easy path; you can also run the relay and this site yourself with every feature switched on, for free.
The host's own AI does the Game Master work, so Loudroll never holds your AI credentials and never resells AI usage.
